Two ice conpetition

This project originated from my observation of the process of ice melting into water. The ice block transforms itself into another state under the influence of time and temperature, without any apparent factors interfering with it. Time and temperature are like puppeteers hiding behind the scenes, unseen by the audience but known to exist.

I want to explore the impact of time and temperature on matter, the invisible elements at work.

Ice is like a puppet being manipulated, with time and temperature controlling its changes. I want to display the states of these changes. Ice weighs one-tenth less than an equal mass of water, so I thought of the primitive gravity device, the seesaw, which would present the changes brought about by time and temperature as the balance shifts.

Using two identical objects of the same weight, ice, in a constant process of transformation into water, affects the balance through gravity. It's like two blocks of ice competing with each other, but what truly matters is the changes brought about by time and temperature on matter. I want people to reflect on their relationship with the surrounding matter and natural laws.
